Born and raised in Queens, Nigel Sylvester has become one of the best streetstyle BMX riders in the world. He’s been pumping out some of the best videos in action sports for years, showcasing his trademark controlled and smooth style. Despite a plethora of accomplishments, Sylvester has stayed true to his roots in streetbiking, riding brakeless through the avenues of his hometown and around the world. In addition to his feats on the street, Sylvester is an accomplished entrepreneur. His NYC shop, www.formatny.com, is a local hub for BMX gear and streetware. His undeniable sense of style has also landed him a recurring column at the fashion blog HighSnobiety. Even with his place as one of the premier street BMX riders in the world, Sylvester avoids letting prestige get between him and his craft. With humility, dedication, and a dash of irreverence, he continues to work his bike into shocking positions year after year, pushing the art of bmx into a new era. 1. This guy is a style master! The New Orleans edit by Gatorade was really sick.

  2. In NYC there were street bmx riders that had shirts that read ‘Sylvester’s Crew’. Who wouldn’t want to be associated with this guy? Simply amazing.
