    Water ramping

Before heading down to New Zealand to get some on snow training Colby and Simon headed to Steamboat, CO to do some water ramping. Water ramping is the place to try the new rotations that you have pictured in your head for so long. The water provides a softer landing then snow does if the new rotation doesn’t work out as planned.

At Steamboat they also have 2 set of fly bed trampolines that you can mess around on too.

Bobby Brown was also there working on adding some more doubles to his bag of tricks. From his results in New Zealand this last week it seems like his new doubles have worked out well for him.

At the end of the day both Simon and Colby had some new rotations that they felt comfortable with and that they would be able to try on snow. Just one day of water ramping was all Colby and Simon needed to get back into the swing of skiing.
