Empire skier Henrik Harlaut is at the top of the international freeskiing pile, and, yesterday, he was named rider of the year by our friends at Downdays. According to the announcement, the criterea for this decision came down to “.. who had the most impressive season this winter overall? Who was consistently on their game? Who achieved good contest results, but also put out sick edits or even a full movie part?” That sounds like Henrik to us. We couldn’t be more pumped about our team right now. New team rider Henrik Harlaut got his first big win at Freestyle.Berlin this pasted weekend. With Henrik smooth style he was able to take the win against a stack field. All the big names where there like TJ Schiller, Sammy Carslon, and fellow team riders Simon Dumont, Colby West, and Jossi Wells. In Finals it was a battle of doubles and whoever stomped theirs the cleanest would walk away with the win. Henrik was the one who stomped his trick the cleanest to grab another great result on the young season.
