The crowd dies down but not at the Empire tent

Thursday night was a complete success in the eyes of Empire Attire. We headed over to the University of Colorado at Boulder for Boulder Freeride’s Welcome Freeriders event. Boulder Freeride happens to be the largest collegiate ski and snowboard club in the entire world, so we figured what better place to premiere our brand new line of gloves.

The event was suppose to kick off at 5:30 p.m., but was fully packed by 5. With an early start, we decided to get the crowd pumped up using our handy dandy megaphone for giveaways. We made the audience work for their prizes by either participating in a spelling bee or a round of Empire Attire trivia. We also gained a lot of attention because we had our main man, Simon Dumont, signing autographs. He was only scheduled to make a one-hour appearance, but was having such a good time meeting the fans that he stuck it out all night. It was amazing to see how the students reacted to all of our gloves. Boulder Freeride is made up of kids just like us, so when we hear they love our products, we are reassured that we did our job right.

Around 8 p.m. we packed up our tent and headed to the Goose Bar. We had the pleasure of cosponsoring an epic after party with Boulder Freeride and Friends. We tried to have another round of trivia for product, but the crowd got too crazy and we had to resort to a traditional product toss. All in all it was a perfect night of fun and games. Thanks Boulder Freeride for an amazing event and a great opportunity to meet all of you guys.
