Jossi Wells
Not many people get the opportunity to ride in a helicopter, especially not as young kids. However, Jossi Wells was busy winning the New Zealand Rip Curl Heli challenge at the age of 9. Since then he has continued to light the ski world on fire.
2007 saw Jossi on podiums in nearly all the major events, the youngest skier at Winter X Games and winning the European Open Superpipe against the deepest field ever. In 2008, Jossi added a podium at the biggest event of the season, the X Games, and continued his domination at every other event he attended. Fast forward 2 more years, and at the age of 19 Jossi was winning left and right, and crowned the AFP Overall World Champion giving him the status of ‘Best Freeskier in the World’.
